The Golomb Group was founded by Stan Golomb in 1980. Stan Golomb’s family owned a central plant and 72 dry stores in the Boston, Mass. area. He eventually became an R.R. Streets representative and was transferred to the Chicago area.
Stan was a master of marketing and actually taught marketing at Northwestern University, even though he did not have a college degree!
After many years of battling various illnesses, and undergoing a heart-transplant, Stan passed away in 2002.
In 2009, Neil Schroeder and Barbara Lueth became senior partners in the Golomb Group. Neil Schroeder, a commercial photographer, graphic designer and marketer. Since graduating from Columbia College in Chicago, Neil has worked for the top advertising agencies in the Chicago market.
Barbara Lueth, began her marketing career soon after college, working for ADVO Systems. She was an integral part of their nationwide expansion, and opened offices for ADVO in Seattle, Houston, Atlanta and Chicago.
